The Department on Aging offers many different programs for Wood County residents including:

The Department of Social Services offers assistance in the areas of:

  • Economic Support
  • Financial Assistance
  • Food Stamps
  • Energy Assistance
  • Medical Assistance

They will also assist in matters of protective payment/guardianship, protective services, and supportive services. For those who meet financial care level criteria funding may also be available for the Community Options Program (COP) and Medicaid Waiver programs.
